1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

When you submit our contact form or the form that unlocks a case study (the “gate form”), we collect the name, email address, company name, job title, and any free-text message you choose to enter.

Information Collected Automatically

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand overall Site traffic. This tool collects page views, referrer URL, approximate location (country/region/city), device/browser/operating system, and visit timestamp. Per Vercel's own documentation, this data is aggregated and anonymized, is not tied to cross-site identifiers, and session-level data is discarded within 24 hours. Vercel Web Analytics does not set cookies and does not track individual visitors.

Information Used for Security Purposes

To prevent abuse of our forms, we temporarily note the IP address associated with a submission. This information is held in memory only, is never written to a database, and is discarded.

2. Cookies

The Site uses cookies in the following limited, specific ways:

• Gate-form access cookie: submitting the gate form sets one first-party cookie that remembers you've unlocked a case study, for a period we currently set at 24 hours (adjustable by us without notice to this policy). This cookie is not used for advertising or analytics and does not track you across other sites.
• Hosted video: when a video is uploaded directly to and served through our content platform, no outside company is involved and no cookies are set.
• YouTube or Vimeo embedded video: the Site does not load these embeds automatically. Instead, each video shows a placeholder naming the specific provider (for example, “This video is hosted on YouTube, which sets tracking cookies once loaded.”) with a “Load video” button. No cookies from that provider are set unless and until you click that button. Your choice is then remembered locally in your browser — not on our servers — so you aren't re-prompted for later videos on the same device. As additional measures, YouTube embeds use Google's privacy-enhanced playback domain and Vimeo embeds include a Do-Not-Track parameter; per each provider's own documentation, neither setting eliminates cookies outright, which is why the click-to-load step, not these settings alone, is what withholds the embed until you choose to load it.
• Hosting and analytics: our hosting provider (Vercel) and Vercel Web Analytics do not set cookies.
• Contact and gate forms: because these are custom-built rather than an embedded third-party widget, they do not currently load a tracking script or set a tracking cookie of their own.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. On this Site, the only cookie you could block that affects your experience is the gate-form access cookie — blocking it simply means you may be asked to unlock a case study again on a later visit.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to respond to inquiries and provide requested materials (such as case studies); operate, maintain, and improve the Site; understand aggregate visitor traffic; and detect and prevent abuse of our forms. Contact and gate-form submissions are also managed in our CRM (HubSpot) for business-development and relationship-management purposes.

5. Data Retention

• Contact and gate-form submissions (name, email, company, job title, message) are currently retained indefinitely once submitted. There is no automated deletion or retention-limit process today.
• Vercel Web Analytics discards session-level data within 24 hours, per Vercel's documentation.
• IP addresses noted for spam/abuse prevention are held only in temporary server memory for the short window described above and are never stored in a database.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, contact us at website@sentinel.security.

7. Children's Privacy

The Site is directed at business audiences and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” above reflects the date of the most recent version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
